Founded in 1990, "Spring Bull" is home to an impressive lineup of award winning, professional artists. The gallery also hosts ongoing exhibitions throughout the year featuring works of regional artists.

Located just down the street from the famous Viking Hotel and across the way from Newport Art Museum, Spring Bull Gallery is an enjoyable, friendly, gallery experience in an unhurried, authentic Artists' Gallery.

Winter Salt Marsh

I painted this Plein Air, and finished it in my studio. The temperature was 38 degrees with a 15mph wind. As I immersed myself in creating my latest piece, a fine art painting, I failed to notice the tide coming in. Suddenly, I realized that the legs of my easel were in the water. I quickly checked the tide chart and discovered it was peaking. Despite the circumstances, I decided to continue my work. It was truly a magical day, and I couldn't wait to share this piece at the Spring Bull Gallery, showcasing my passion for Elaine Porter art.
